Revised text from an artificial intelligence/chatbot without a reference to the primary source, is also considered plagiarism. Remember that all sources you use in your assignment must be verifiable.

If plagiarism is uncovered, the consequences for you as a student can be serious. These are the sanctions the university may use:

Annulment of the examination/submitted assignment.
Exclusion from INN for up to 24 months. The student also loses the right to take exams at all institutions of higher education in Norway during the exclusion period.
Attempted cheating or complicity in cheating is punished with the same sanctions.

It is therefore very good that you're taking this learning path! If you have a good, organized, and reliable referencing technique and a conscious approach to the sources you use, you will avoid plagiarism.
